He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.
His truth will be your sheild and armour.

Spring Showers

What a day it has been!  I have really enjoyed this day. :) I had lunch with a very dear friend and as usual I left feeling refreshed and encouraged.  We even had the opportunity to walk around the square in Warren and do a little window shopping. Afterwards, I went to pick up Grace at preschool and got the honor of reading to her class.  I really loved watching their little eyes light up as we entered into the story. We ended up reading several and I hope to get to do it again!  I love kids! I used to think that I didn't like other people's kids, turns out that I don't like other kids' parents. lol Actually I am joking about not liking the parents well, kinda.  I used to think I could never relate to children or understand why they do the things they do,  I guess I just needed to have one of my own in order to learn to understand and appreciate kids.  They are such little blessing! I love the way they are so innocent and curious about the world, and how they light up when they learn new things.  They get so excited over the small simple things in life that we as adults take for granted.

Just this week I let Grace play in the sprinkler.  She got SO excited when I told her she could that she jumped up and down squealing in excitement and started saying "kank you momma kank you!" over and over.  Then to watch her play was just too much fun! She even managed to pull me in on it a little. :)

Then tonight as we were coming home from the church, it was foggy outside, but in the distance she could see a small light shining.  She got all excited again and said "look momma look!" so I went to where she was standing in the yard and she got the sweetest expression on her face and said "look momma it is God's love shining down on us!"  I didn't have the heart to tell her it was the neighbor's yard light.  She is so sweet and I am so thankful for her! God has truly blessed me beyond measure!

I had a great weekend!  I got to go see Beth Moore Living Proof Live in Little Rock.  A dear lady friend took me and treated me like a queen.  God really moved in my heart in some areas and I realize there are some changes that need to be made. We studied 2Timothy chapter 4 and I really felt like this conference was meant just for me.  I will be spending the next few weeks meditating on what God wants my life goal to be and how to equip myself for it.

Now on to less spiritual happenings.  I am trying to get the church easter egg hunt organized and I know it will all come together in the end but for now I am frustraited with it.  I spoke to my Mom and sister today.  I sure do miss them! Mom is wanting to get a tattoo in memory of my Grandma that passed away in December.  Julie is wanting me to get a matching tat with her and so they both have decided I need to come for a visit. lol like I need another tatto! (especially since my hubby is pastoring now) I love those girls though! They are crazy!

Gracie and I have been hanging out together today and she is just the light of my life! She always finds a way to make me smile.  Today she came into the kitchen and starts singing very loudly "YOU ARE SOOOOOO BEEEEAUUUUTIFULLLLLL TO MEEEEEE!" then she hugs me and giggles and runs away real quick.  I love my baby girl!  I wish I had a house full of more kids just like her.
