He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.
His truth will be your sheild and armour.

great night at church!!!
So, tonight was a very exciting night! I am involved with the teens on Wednesday nights and have really enjoyed working with them. I know that they have taught me a lot as well as given me opportunity to teach. Tonight I handed out papers for the younger kids to take home to tell their parents about an Easter Egg Hunt we are having at the church. When I got done and went back in to join the teens I found one of the girls crying on the back row. I asked her what was going on and we snuck out the back to talk. Turns out she needed to ask God to forgive her for her sins and ask Him into her heart. We had a good talk and I showed her some Scriptures and prayed with her and am excited to say that she is now my new baby sister in Christ!!! I will be praying for her as she grows in Christ and for her family too.

I did not mention yesterday that I have some prayer request to share. My husband's aunt has cancer and she has been given less than 2 weeks to live. Her name is Dixie. She is not what I would consider "old." She has children and young grandchildren. She is a very dear lady and I ask that you pray that she will be as comfortable as possible in her last days and that her family will find comfort during their great loss.
I also need prayer. I have had type 1 diabetes for 21 years now and am really having a hard time taking control of my blood sugars. I have a hard time balancing everything out and I know that God can give me the strength to go one day at a time I just need to remember to trust Him and depend on Him.
I have a busy day planned today. I need to get this house cleaned up and get to the grocery store before I go pick up my girl from preschool. I am having a hard time deciding on what to fix for dinner...any suggestions? I will try to post more this evening, until then, I hope your day is good and remember a good marriage is like a casserole, only those responsible for it really know what goes in it.

Welcome to our life! We stay pretty busy around here. My husband is a preacher and I am a wife momma and then anything else God wants me to be. I have a 4 year old precious little girl. She is in preschool and very smart! I am proud of all she does.
This past weekend we went to Arkansas Youth Conference with the teens from our church. What a time we had!!!! We stayed at a fancy hotel and attended the conference and I could tell that God was really at work in the lives of many. We got home Saturday afternoon and began getting geared up for Sunday. I teach the preschool Sunday school class and those sweet girls keep me on my toes! We learned about how God gave us two rules to live a happy life. The first is to love God completely the second is to love others as much as we love ourselves. I am not sure how much they retained but I know there are times that I need the reminder. God is good all the time, even when we don't feel His presence, He is always with us. He deserves our love and SO much more!
Today has been the usual Monday for us. We lovingly refer to Monday as Holy Hangover Day. lol We try to do as little as possible and rest on Monday because Sunday's can pretty well leave us drained. We LOVE doing what we do it is just that we usually need a day to rest.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring....I can't wait to find out!
